My Story About Antarctica
I decided to celebrate my 60th birthday with the adventure of a lifetime, a journey to Antarctica. The idea came after hearing an interview with William Shatner, who mentioned he would be hosting a cruise to the Antarctic alongside Daniel Fox. The timing lined up perfectly with my birthday, and I knew I had to go.
The expedition, called Space 2 Sea, brought together an extraordinary group of astronauts, scientists, and biologists. I had the honor of meeting fascinating people like Neil deGrasse Tyson, Scott Kelly, and Charlie Duke. The ship was stunning, the crew exceptional, and every meal was a delight. Each day was filled with captivating lectures about space and the Antarctic, and we embarked on two thrilling excursions daily.
It was truly a once in a lifetime experience, and I am beyond grateful. Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream come true.
Oh, and here is a fun fact: I became the first acupuncturist to perform acupuncture on the continent of Antarctica, and yes, I have the photos to prove it.
